That's true, but if/when Armistice et al find a buyer they do not ask Odidi to act but they more like tell him how this will happen.
Patents concerning PODRAS are public. They can estimate how valuable they are with or without Odidi and his tests. If/when Purdue does buy this, they will implement the techniques to products in a couple months.
Odidi seems not to be capable in getting things done to the very end, but it's not important for someone like Purdue.
