April 10--A busy day. The clouds lifted and the temperature went up and my layers went off. There was still a breeze so I didn't get down to just a t-shirt.

More soil in the beds where I plan to set out peppers and whatever else I figure out.

I set out 4 tomato plants. A couple were this volunteer plant from last season, and a couple that I forgot to label. I have lots more to go.

I also planted some flower seeds from the collection I bought from Kim O'Shea. I filled some buckets with top soil from the back and carted it to the bed. I took my trowel and dug small trenches in the hills I hoed up. I planted the following:

Lemon Queen sunflower (Helianthus annus) to 8 ft
Cup Plant (Silphium perfoliatum) 4 to 8 ft
In the second bed I sowed Cilantro Slo Bolt (Coriandrum sativum) 1 to 3 ft

I gave each spot handful of fertilizer then watered.

My straweberry crowns were in the mailbox this afternoon so that is what I start planting tomorrow morning.

The cup flower has yellow blooms

The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
