An hourly wage Verizon rep in a call center says the SkiQ is being "speed tested in Sacramento" and it's going to trigger Pennyland today??

You really think a speed test on a device not yet confirmed Verizon will even sell is listed in the notes for a rep to talk about??

Think about what makes sense folks.

If you believe that Verizon makes what products are being tested available to their call center reps to divulge to the public, then by all means go ahead and sell the farm to buy SRMX.

The fact is that in 2017, Verizon announced they would be testing 5G speeds in Sacramento and 10 other cities in the first half of 2018, to hopefully start rolling out 5G in the second half of 2018. The rep was most likely talking about speed testing currently being done in Sacramento for the 5G rollout, not specific to a particular router.

Any idea how many products Verizon tests each year and then what percentage of those tested actually ever make it to their inventory?

Call center reps do not get information about every product being tested.
