I believe the Israeli decision to sell cannabis based drugs in regular drug stores, not cannabis stores, is great news, it's the direction the future should take in many nations, perhaps someday including the U.S.

To my knowledge, here in the U.S. everything from the cannabis buds to all sorts of other forms of cannabis can be sold in medical, and recreational store where they apply. I don't know what will be able to be purchased in Israel, it might include even things like candy, but I don't believe that buds, leaf, etc. will be included, rather it will be precise formulations of cannabis and other components in a product that can be packaged like other drugs.

I do not know if any recreational cannabis is available legally in Israel, but based on the announcement I doubt if it is.
