That article makes me very hopeful that cannabis prohibition will be ending in the next few years worldwide. The international treaties are the biggest obstacle for countries to legalize cannabis. Uruguay is the only country in the world to go against these international treaties and legalize cannabis. Canada will be the second. Breaking an international treaty is a huge deal, and would be a huge hinderance to federal legalization in the US. If cannabis gets rescheduled on a world level, and with all the states already legal in the US, it will be an easier move for the feds to legalize the whole US
