A sign posted by a tough-talking Georgia sheriff has gotten so much attention that the law enforcement officer found himself a featured guest on “Fox & Friends.”

Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley recently posted a politically incorrect sign outside his department warning visitors that locals may be armed — Jolley paid $553 for the sign out of his own pocket, Fox News reported.

“Our citizens have concealed weapons. If you kill someone, we might kill you back. We have one jail and 356 cemeteries. Enjoy your stay!” the conspicuous sign reads.

The “humble” sheriff told “Fox & Friends” the claim of 356 cemeteries was a tongue-in-cheek remark, explaining that the number of concealed carriers in Harris County have “tripled” and that was the motivating factor behind the sign.

“That’s the purpose, just to let people know that the law is real specific,” Jolley said. “If you are using a deadly weapon to commit bodily injury to someone the law says that a person can use a weapon to protect themselves.”

The sheriff was in agreement that an armed citizenry was the best way to deter crime.

“Fox & Friends” drew attention to an earlier sign Jolley posted explaining that Harris County said “Merry Christmas” and “God bless America,” and “salutes our troops and our flag,” before telling the sheriff he “was Trump before Trump.”

The sheriff’s response was a classic… without missing a beat, he said: “Well, it’s time to make America great again.”

As for those who may disagree with Jolley, he shared an equally politically incorrect answer for that as well, in a separate appearance.

“I spent 20 years in the [U.S. Army] to give everyone the right to disagree with me or anyone else,” he said. “Hopefully, if they disagree, they can voice that opinion. But if it offends them, truly offends them, maybe they’re in the wrong country.”
