There's one fact you're not telling this guy. It's that news trumps all chart indications and assumptions no matter how bullish or bearish the patterns or a few individual candlesticks may allude to. I can read charts with the best of them and I would never put my money on black or red with "news" coming out tomorrow.
You either flip stocks for a living (chart reading), or nose up the butt of the ceo (a long share holder).
I'm sure you are conscientious individual and are aware of the fact this gentleman has very limited knowledge of our profession and wouldn't take advantage of him like you and I know happens in chat-rooms by some unscrupulous individuals. Take care and keep up the education you are providing individuals like him.
