Dear Tianqi, we can plainly see you are getting a whopping blue-veiner to buy that 32% share in SQM from Canada's Potash/Nutrien... but you need to face the facts of life here ma' man. If Chile allows you to buy that share in SQM you will then have a stranglehold on the World's lithium supply and no one (in the free world) is going to allow that to happen. So don't get too bent out of shape when you get hung up in the Chilean courts/agencies/review-boards for the next 3 or 4 years. You should have swooped in and bought some private property (ie property rich in lithium brine) in the Maricunga Salar and then smashed your heavy-foot on the gas pedal to the floor in lovely delightful Maricunga where you would by now already have "a bird in the hand". Remember Confucius says specifically to you Chinese, "a bird in the hand is worth two birds in the bush" and you chasing that Nutrien deal is definitely going to be two birds in the bush.
