According to Seita estimates, the rise in tobacco prices has led to a drop in sales, reports Les Echos . In March, when the price of a package increased by one euro on average and two euros for rolling tobacco, deliveries from retailers fell by 19%.
The drop in sales had already begun in February and is expected to continue even as the 10-euro package is announced for 2020.
