Global PoleTrusion Group Corp. Announces Potential Project with the Regional Management of Mines and Energy in Arequipa, Peru

North Randall, Ohio, April 4, 2018 – Global PoleTrusion Group Corp. (GPGC) has entered into an agreement with the Regional Management of Mines and Energy (GREM, acronym in Spanish) of the Arequipa Regional Government in Peru to assess the energy requirements of newly formed communities built around the mining industry. In the first phase of this project, one of these mining communities has been selected for GPGC to conduct an engineering study for the installation and operation of a 2 Megawatt (MW) solar plant.

Due to their remote locations, the regional mining communities (with population sizes ranging between 500 and 5,000 people) do not have easy access to electricity or the infrastructure required to grow. After visiting three high priority mines, GPGC met with Miguel Sacapuca, Regional Manager at GREM. They have selected the San Cristobal mine as the first site to begin the project. This location has a population of approximately 1,000 inhabitants composed of miners and their families. They currently rely on diesel generators to provide only 3 to 5 hours of electricity per day. Delivering a reliable source of energy distribution for the community will help run their school, water treatment, sanitation and health services.

GREM is in the process of allocating funds for the 2MW solar plant. GREM and GPGC are also working together to obtain an environmental impact study. The engineering plans and cost study are expected to be completed by GPGC at the end of June 2018, at which time more information will be release about this project.
