Ever hear of Stanford Ovshinsky, the unschooled Polish physicist, who jealously scoffed at "threadbare physics Ph.D's" reading papers to each other at scientific conventions while he wore handmade Italian shoes and silk Hong Kong suits.

Probably looked like a gangster or pimp with a big car to match but Stan made himself and his investors very wealthy during the 35 (or was it 45 years?) before his Energy Conversion Devices made a profit.

Ovshinsky's inventions [ovonics yet] are still on the cutting edge today.

Well that was then but investors want giant companies with big profits today.

There's some truth in that but only enough to mislead.

Mike West, a biological Ph.D. has discovered science beyond the wildest imagination of most science fiction writers and spun off a constellation of satellites and partially-owned investments from BTX and is now preparing to "cure old age," so to speak, as he prepares to head AgeX as a new future spin-off and leave another man in charge of BTX.

Think some dumbos like Merck or Pfizer will be buying out West's constellation even if they pick off one or two? What would they do with immortality?

In truth, Frost is no Ovshinsky or West but the "biotech Warren Buffett" is surely no slouch at building even with a lost decade price wise.

Small jewels 4KScore and Rayaldee are coming along nicely despite the jeers but are only small decorations compared to the thrust into genomics while some speculative budding giant "investments" like RXII that had a small abortive spike yesterday are usually ignored.

I invite anyone seriously interested in looking into matters just look at a purty pitcher glimpse of RXII that even this enthusiast had missed:

Quite possible but I don't see many gloomers noticing much of anything beyond the tale of the tape that has little more forecasting ability than a fortune cookie in my argumentable view.
