Magellan Filmed Entertainment Reports Successful Participation in the Seattle Film Festival

KIRKLAND, Wash., Jun 19, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Magellan Filmed Entertainment
Inc. (OTCBB: MFLM) reported today that the public screening, at the Seattle
International Film Festival, of its initial full length feature film project
RENNIE'S LANDING was well received by the sold out audience.

Comments ranged from "you have a winner", to "this is a great film with a
terrific ending" to "this is much better than I thought a first time director
and company could produce." The audience cheered, laughed and generally
responded at the right time. "It was quite exciting to participate in a premiere
of our own film," said Marc Fusco director and co-author.

Management was pleased at the response and is working to expose the results of
the screening to the appropriate distributor/buyers for the North American
markets. International distribution continues to be developed by Franchise
Pictures with revenue expected 3rd quarter 2001.
