I guess I didn't consider the speed of a radio wave.

I did have classes on fiber optic use in aircraft so difference between electrons and the speed of light was on my mind. I never got to trouble shoot or work on something with fiber optics though.

To me ABWN's Information Super Highway is as big of a milestone (especially with the lasers) as the satellite was when introduced in 1957.

I think it says something when ABWN,s laser communication development coincides with NASA's laser communication development.
