Here is a new broker experience for me trixie 
I had 2 accounts through Evertrade (a lesser-known brokerage through Everbank).
they used National Financial Services as their clearing firm.
The accounts were transferred to TIAA brokerage just recently.
Well, apparently TIAA doesn't like penny stocks. So anything under $1 value was NOT transferred into the new accounts.
what?
Never heard of that before, if you're doing a total account transfer, they pick and choose what assets they WANT to move?

So I was just on the phone directly with National Financial Services, to get rid of 1 share of different stocks in two accounts.
NFS was nice enough to sell them and not charge me anything. Then officially close out those accounts...because they are "unmanaged" (no broker assigned to them).
that's something we pennystock traders will have to keep in mind, if the broker is transferred to a non penny-friendly broker.
hope your trading is going well. I always check-in on the bounce board throughout the day. Maybe one of these years I'll pay for a membership, but I figure....meh.
