Donald Trump has finally "chosen" a new Defense Counsel in the Robert Mueller probe - Andrew Ekonomou.
It's the joke of the century but Trump thinks this perfectly sensible. After prominent Republican lawyer John Down quit Trump's case after Trump wanted to replace him with two TV show hosts, it appears no legitimate lawyer is willing to work for Donald Trump
While Andrew Ekonomou has never worked as a Defense Lawyer, either civil or criminal, he was once under contract as an assistant district attorney in Brunswick, Georgia prosecuting illegal Video Poker machines in gas stations.

But Trump's new lawyer's experience doesn't end there. After losing his Georgia law firm, Ekonomou suffered what he characterized as a “mid-life crisis” and returned to school to earn his doctorate in medieval history, with a minor in “Church History from Late Antiquity through the High Middle Ages”; he has since authored a book on Byzantine Rome and the Greek popes.
This buffoon was hired to defend Donald Trump by Trump's part-time "personal attorney" Jay Sekulow a "Messianic Christian Jew" who splits his time between being a talk show host on "Jay Sekulow Live!" on XM and Sirius radio and occasionally doing some legal work. Like Trump, Sekulow has previously fired for bankruptcy.
