If Tesla should falter (which I don't think they will) there is going to be a constant stream of new EV players to fill any voids Tesla may make. Whilst the BMW+Mercedes story today seems innocuously centered on "electric vehicle charging" we all know in our hearts by reading between the lines this is the informal beginning of the new BMW+Mercedes electric car partnership.
