Hard to figure out exactly what just happened today, but it certainly appears to be manipulation.

we have this crazy article which practically admits manipulation:

J Capital thinks Sorrento Therapeutics is a zero. We think management is trying to pump up the share price and personally benefit from options at the expense of the company’s underlying value. We think that management’s focus on creating personal wealth has actually destroyed the potential that Sorrento once had.

You should assume that J Capital is short SRNE shares directly or indirectly and therefore may have a conflict of interest. We encourage investors to undertake their own investigation.

the stock tanks and then shows signs of revival. we hear no comment from the company.

over 12 million shares traded with sells and buys pretty much even and spread over the whole day.

I sold this morning, but bought back just before noon, banking the difference. I made a good profit on the sell, but obviously a lot less that if I would have sold over the past several two weeks. The strange thing is the selling all last week, like someone knew what was coming. Someone always seems to know what is going on.

from here on I am going to trade this stock, selling it every time I get up $10k and not worrying about being left behind if this shoots back to the $10 pps level that convinced us all it was headed to $30.

If a stock is clearly being manipulated, we need to just play along and not fall in love with it. sell often and buy back when it dips.

lesson learned yet again!
