TSA Air Cargo Screening Qualification Test

I'm sure there are other websites to find this information but in my opinion based on limited research into the ACSQT test, the process could take quite some time;I'll post a paragraph below to show you what I mean but you can go to the website I will link at the bottom of this page and click on the PDFs to formulate your own opinion;I suspect many months because it is the government,at the very least.

If anyone has any better information or has dealt with these tests in the past please share ,but I am trying to develop some kind of time line as to when this might be approved for use in airport screening.

Of course there is always the possibility that ASTC could sell 1st Detect even before approval by the TSA ,but why would someone buy them before they knew if it would be approved for use with the TSA or not first?

This excerpt is from the first PDF listed called RFI

5. QUALIFICATION PROCESS STEPS
This section describes the steps required to fulfill
qualification requirements for Stages I and II used
to evaluate a device. Stage I steps are discussed in
Section 5.1, and steps related to Stage II are
presented in Section 5.2. Cumulatively, between
Stages I and II, thirteen steps are described.
Although certain qualification groups may include
additional sub-steps (e.g., prequalification
activities), the thirteen steps are common to all
qualification groups.

That was just a taste of what lies ahead if you start digging

Due to the above information and my research I may be backing down on any price predictions I may have thought about, although it does have a low float and various other business enterprises I think it might be awhile before 1st Detect starts production or is sold.
