No money was scammed. Dan, Otto did not, do not realise how much costs are involved in working in Northern Boreal forest in Ontario.
They had a planned project: forty winkie drills in the S/E Zone and two real dills on the 'D' Zone.
They had their asses handed to them. Not only did they not plan for enough money to complete the drilling project and get assays results they still owe the driller $21k and , I assume, other suppliers as well.
A total, nontransparent mess.
If you go through the years where the most money was spent, 2009-2012, and look at the audit of Nio Star one can see that all the money was spent properly in the pursuit of developing the Nemegosenda property and $750k in developing Shiningtree properties that Dan sold for fuckle. Goodbye $750k.
When Dan got in trouble with DOL he began a propaganda story blaming earlier management to try to pin his malfeasance on someone else. Typical Danno behaviour. It didn't work at all. DOL saw through his 'thin disguise' and fined him $310k and took away his trusteeship forever in New York State..

Go to the corporate books and examine them and then make 'considered comment' about how the money was spent. If you don't do that all you are doing is parroting Dan's unsubstantiated propaganda without any real understanding.
Mineral exploration is a tough business as the only money comes through stock sales, one has to be careful.
Keevil brought in the Lithium group a $10MM offer for 75% and a 25% carried interest and the dumbos, Otto and Dan, turned it down because they don't understand the exploration business. That was insane.
Now, after rejecting $10MM, Dan, Otto can't raise even a measly $1k to have Sarissa's Nevada registration.
Sad.
