The OTC is just a name. It implies no credibility. Every year dozens of companies registered with the SEC but nonetheless trade OTC are suspended and go the grey market. Dozens of officers and principles are charged with various securities violations. Some are found guilty and serve prison terms.

Spend some time reading the iHub DD board and you will understand what a cesspool the OTC actually is.

The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
