OTC Markets and the Pink Sheets are one and the same thing. OTC Markets is merely a trading platform. It is not an actual exchange.

The three categories are mere marketing constructs.

The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
