arent they a quasi mvno themselves they would be in business with mvnos. anyone hu doesnt build their own network with the big 3 isNt an mvno. if they do, that makes them an mvno. Thats not the problem. its the big 3 wanting significant payment for playing network operator and switching folks back on even as an insurance policy. At & T e.g. still has to use rogers. T-Mobile limited their unlimited plan and added an extra fee to maintain unlimited.
True other private networks are used and do the same thing but the big 3 sees themself as more fundamental and seeks worthy compensation so the crtc will define this role more specifically in the year. in the meantime the big 3 have to have data plans and have only a month to negotiate. then the public gets to gripe about their proposals. The tnw private network though is really enhanced with apps and backhauls that make business with them likely eventhough specifically they arent mentioned in the crtc report.
