You have to wait to see if you get more or less than what you would have gotten if you sold your position at the time they gave you that misinformation. Right now you can't access your asset but you will eventually receive the proceeds from the sale of the ETE shares that backed your nbggy adrs. Until then you don't know if you've actually been damaged. For now you're helpless to do anything other than document date & time of conversation and perhaps bring it to the attention of your brokers superior to make sure they understand the companies announcement and that you expect to see your fair share of the proceeds from the ete sales in your account as soon as they're made available to the beneficial holders that under wrote the ADRs. I would also suggest you find the link to the company announcement from last November that I, and others, have recently posted on this board and email it to your broker to reference so you know they're on the same page with you.
