Life in general and things in the DRC aren't already hard enough and so now these union leeches want to swoop in while on vacation from Geneva and suck another liter out of our perpetually red/bruised butts. I guess once you are mining in a sheethole, you're always mining in a sheethole. If the IndustriALL/Tumec union does not like working in our mines then simply quit working in our mines. Go work as a freelancing independent miner outside our front gate where you can set your own hours, your own working conditions and your own wages as high as you want. You can also deal with all the corrupt DRC politicians/bandits/rebels trying to shake you down for a bribe every day along with all the daily daunting hassles/challenges outside the front gate of "your" mine that never get even a second thought in civilized non-savage nations outside the DRC.

Everybody wants a piece of us now that the entire free world has woken up to the fact we need to stop polluting our cities with fossil-fuel-burning cars. All the blood sucking leeches are fighting tooth & nail to jump on the perceived gravy-train now. How could any new cobalt miner with a greenfield even dare to imagine opening a new "legitimate" cobalt mine in this sheethole country?
