Don't you just go crazy thinking about the great lengths these people and I means bank owned will go too, to save those instruments of mass destruction? There attempts to move the risk is ridiculous. If they disconnect the risk from the government or the GSEs it still presents a systemic risk to our economy and the tax payers. So long has the GSEs done a super job and as soon as the investment banks are allowed in we get clobbered. Even with alarms going off we just let it happen. Now we toy with exchange of ideas too live with them and pretend we removed the risks. Man we got too be idiots.
