The dollar volume and the ratio of dollar volume to price movement are the 2 most predictive factors of the size of the 2nd leg

Taking into account both of those factors, it looks like I underestimated on each of those data points when it comes to VATE

The strength of the demand for VATE shares over the past 9 trading days -- approximately 2 weeks -- as measured by daily dollar volume, is significantly higher than I had predicted

And at the same time, the tightness of the float is also significantly greater than I had anticipated, which is the single best metric that represents supply (though there is an inverse relationship between tightness and supply, i.e. the greater the tightness of the float, the lower the supply)

As a result of these errors of future estimation, the demand is higher and the supply is lower than I had calculated

Exactly what this means for a 2nd leg price target, I can't say anything numerically specific at this juncture in time, but I do know that once I enter these new data points into my databases and perform a few statistical analyses, I feel confident in saying that the current price prediction will need to be raised
