Next 3 weeks will be non-eventful. GE has no interest seeing the SP go up or down from this level. From what I see last couple of months or so, it's obvious he's been trying to make this look like a mega cap instead of micro cap. He is not allowing any big movements at all. He doesn't want day or momo traders to make any money off his company. The real question is what he is intending to do when he can sell his shares. Would he want a high sp so he could realize gains or something else? Simple minds like us would like to think he would try to make money by selling his shares but there are other ways of making money off the shares he is a super majority of. Which way will it be? That is the question here. My thought is that as long as SEC is on him he would try to play safe by doing what he is doing right now and sell at a profit very slowly. Once SEC is off his back, he may become creative. We won't find out for a while IMO. However, for now, this is behaving like a mega cap as he has a complete control over the SP. I see all these small buys and sells that are controlling the SP right now. Normal situation when a stock buy program is occurring the SP has distinctive pattern. It gradually and continuously goes up while it's happening without a down day even. This is not acting like the company is buying back shares right now, especially when the total float worth of ~ 120 mil on the stated buy back of 50 mil (at maximum). It is totally obvious that GE is tightly controlling the SP so it will continue to stay at this level. That is until he can do something about his shares, in about three weeks. So, all these haters or pumpers are barking up on a wrong tree here. The SP stays where it is now for next three weeks.
