Here's the latest DPW short interest as reported to FINRA:

Outstanding shares: 30.40mm
Float: 22.49mm

Short interest: 3.8mm

Short interest as a percent of Float: 16.88%

Not sure as to the origin of 53% "short volume", but the above represents the true situation as reported to the regulators by DPW.
