The share price moved up about 75% from 40 cents or so into the seventies back in October. This created heavy volumes with one day near 2,000,000 shares changing hands, if I remember correctly.

I think we saw a lot of trading volume back then because some longtime and perhaps impatient Active Power shareholders and people that had bought into PIOI and waited many months finally got a chance to get out of positions selling into some strength.

There may even have been some auto-sell orders up in the .80s and .90s that got filled before people could evaluate the lucrative prospects of PIOE having bought RCP Advisors.

Also, for those who were lucky enough to have a cost-basis down in the 0.20s or teens, seeing a 300%-400% gainer was "an offer too good to refuse," especially since that was a KNOWN GAIN and the nature of RCP Advisors was still something of an unknown (until DC and Chemist and later myself began to really find the facts to give us a clearer picture of what PIOE owns in RCP--like all those cash equivalents!). We know that Biohunter, who evidently had a very low cost basis on his shares, was responsible for unloading 1 million shares in Oct., which spiked some of the volume.
