No need for an investigation. A shot and killed B
However: viable questions (Investigation):
is A dead
did the bullets kill B
Did the bullets come from the gun A was holding
Was the pulling of the trigger accidental
What were the circumstances surrounding the shooting
What was A doing just before B was shot
What was B doing just before he was shot
Was any other criminal act being committed just before or during the shooting
Was A acting in self defense
Was A acting in defense of others (some one else)
Was aA under any type of duress at the time of the shooting
Was B under any duress at the time of the shooting
Was a under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Are the witnesses reliable
were there any issues that would alter the decision(s) of the witnesses
Were the witnesses impaired in any way
(I have 40+ more issues that need to be investigated before A can be charged with murder 1)
Nothing is ever always or never
Nothing in the law is slam dunk
