And which specific “illegal practices” are they referring to within “broker check”?

Broker/dealer “shorting” for market making purposes and retail short interest are two ENTIRELY different things.

But whenever a penny stock starts falling...the MM’s are inevitably getting blamed...lol...while the company is merrily diluting.
