It is well known that 40% to 60% of most stock volume is created by MMers trading between themselves. No big money will bet if its 0 volume for weeks but if they see it trading 100k or 200k shares a week its a safer bet than a stock with zero volume because the big money guys want assurances they can get out of the stock.
