Its true Lumateperone has a much better safety profile compared to the current antipsychotics used in schizophrenia. But thats also true for a placebo pill. ITCI is trying to convince the FDA to accept combined data for the successful P2 & P3 trials along with the failed P3. Besides getting beat by the placebo arm another problem for the drug imo is there was no dose effect seen in the P2 or the last P3. An unusually high placebo effect should not cause the low dose to beat the hi dose. It appears to me the ITCI drug has a very weak effect at best. I am not shorting ITCI. I've never shorted a stock. I have briefly owned the stock in the past.
