On a more serious note that is a good thing. A merger with Amedica would require an adept IR to explain to investors the strength of the technology and potentially talk investors down if upset at potential acquisition price. I mean this is a paradigm shifting tech Zimmer would be acquiring that would transform Zimmers various portfolios.

I wonder if joint venture acquisition is possible...as in Zimmer + company B create company C to acquire Amedica. Its certainly possible. Although i would think they would hire this sort of person to head IR for that company.
