I would not expect GE to be selling into the stock repurchase in the early stages. This would set up a landslide of offers, and I would expect he could achieve higher prices by waiting. I don't doubt he will push the price higher, and sell a percentage of the repurchase in the later stages. I also would not expect the spin out to take affect until after the repurchase, as this would give him greater control over the spin out{less shares out}. Oh, and meima, I'm sorry I did not recognize your attempt at humor on the Seaspan comment...glta
