Regarding the earthquake that'll lay on me Malibu-type property, I'm trying to convince the new editor of our local paper to let me write an article on the earthquake to come. My town is located just about 4 miles southwest of the San Andreas Fault that can be seen on a mountainside from my home. When it lets go it's going to be a doozy. The article would be about the town's preparedness for the shaker and what homeowners can do to be prepared for it.
