The actual claim is that there never were any patents. I have done a thorough search of U.S. Patent Office records from 1976 to present day and there are no patents on record for Alternative fuel Technologies nor are there any patents for Alternative fuel technology.

The search included searches for DME, Dimethyl Either and JP-8 (jet fuel) all of which AFT was working on before the CEO died in 2013, causing the closing of the Company.

I also did a comprehensive search of Mr James McCandless (Jim) for the same searches as above. I searched more than 480 entries and found 2 patents listed for Jim as inventor. However, as an employee of Ford and Navistar the patents became the property of the respective Companies under employment contracts.

Over the years I have had several conversations with Jim and already knew that there were no patents, but simply stating that fact admittedly was not sufficient Due Diligence since I am not now, nor was I ever employee, nor a Managing Member of the LLC. I was a major retail shareholder and still have many millions of shares, albeit far less than a few years ago.

For those who still wish to believe that there were, or are patents, consider the following. First; in 2015, AFT was dissolved at a shareholders meeting, when the Widow of the CEO holding 70% of the voting shares voted to dissolve the Company.

The Nevada Secretary of State Revoked AFT’s status. There was a subsequent auction in 2015 where all property owned by AFT was sold off.

Dissolved companies, as part of the Dissolution Process, must divest themselves of all property of value. As such, if AFT had any patents which are intellectual property, it would be a requirement of the Dissolution that those patents be sold off and any monies received from the sale would be used to pay debts and finally shareholders.

The above is moot since AFT never had any patents, but I presented the alternate theory in the event that there are those who might say, Ya’ but….what if…..

For the above stated reasons, AFT, as a material fact, or under Operation of Law, does not own, nor is it in possession of any patents, or any other form of intellectual property.
