I find it interesting that Clark Webb was a partner at Select Equity Group where they had $20Bn under management. That's probably where he first met up with the RCP guys - PE is a small community. It also means he's very familiar with what a company with $20Bn under management looks, tastes, smells and feels like; and the various and sundry places all that capital to manage can come from.
