1) NBCNews executives announce a STREAMING news platform launching in 2018 to draw younger viewers. They don't offer one yet, and the average age of NBCNews viewers is currently 60+. Telemundo, owned by NBC, which is owned by Comcast, is also launching a streaming news platform.
2) Same day, JF, Viva's CEO, posts a serious, confident photo of himself in NBCUniversal/Telemundo headquarters in Florida. Not the typical JF social shot of him and associates and friends grinning.
3.Comcast/NBC own Hulu, which has been valued at tens of $billions by a top analyst, but who's platform has nevertheless always been plagued with buffering issues.
Hmmm...
Total blind speculation on my part as to what this might mean and, not a stock recommendation of any kind. I own OTTV shares.
