They do seem to be a big deal. And medically I think a strain that is very low in THC is also a big deal. Being able to drive safely, work, focus, take care of your children...while still being able to get many of the benefits of smoked cannabis is great for a lot of medical users. One of the advantages of smoked cannabis is that some people have can't hold down food. Also when you eat cannabis and it metabolizes in your body the effects are very different. A patient could use the extremely low THC variety during the day and if they also had problems sleeping at night could consume a different strain. The diversity that a strain like this adds is a great addition to the medical cannabis community, IMO.
