There are some good points here. But I dont think federal approval is all that necessary to make money on these stocks. It would be nice, but I think as long as more states continue to embrace it, there is a lot of growth potential.

The second point on big pharma and the insurance industry supporting it is real, and a big hurdle. A few things need to happen first.

Your analogy to Drs recommending MJ akin to benadryl or other otc drugs, is another problem but my interest in this industry as an investment is predicated on MJ’s superior efficacy over all the other drugs. If it is true, THAT WILL WIN OUT IN THE END. And all the resistance from the medical industry will disappear as they scramble to get involved in the next new health care breakthrough.
