Would you rather everyone just spout doom and gloom? No one knows what's really going on behind the scenes. Could very well be that everything has fallen through or it could be something new and positive holding things back. We just can't know.

I think it's easy to be pessimistic in a situation like this. But there is still evidence that things will be ok.

As the delays continue, I begin to wonder if management actually knows that this halt would continue on for quite some time. Perhaps their instance on the halt ending "soon" is the equivalent of keeping kids in their seats during long car rides when they keep asking "are we there yet?".
Is it completely honest? No. But if they know they've actually got something big in the works, then the investor still stands to benefit in the end.
