Fair point. In a world where Gilead is the only player, that could be an issue.

However, there are other BP players who have cash, might not currently be in the HIV space, and might be inclined to drink Gilead's milkshake.

The hope here (my hope anyway) is that Gilead is forced to act by its competitors to defend its HIV turf, thereby providing incentive for multiple players to come to the table to bid on Pro 140 (presumably if/when mono data comes back positive).

Give me a good reason why Gilead should bring pro140 as fast as possible to the market and kill their own cash cow
