MMEX is a classic pyramid-style investment share-selling scheme, based on toxic lending through PIPE based "equity" loans.

I did not claim that I expose these schemes - my firm sees things of this nature, proffered as "investment opportunities" on a regular basis. Our job is to protect investors in our funds from the dubious mistake of a fund investment in such a fraudulent scheme. The notion of "expose" is your misinterpretation.

We only do solicited investments from syndicate partners with established track records, proven histories, verifiable and those that can be vetted.

We have a periodic "gong show," in which unsolicited "investment opportunities" get at least a cursory look. MMEX was featured in our last calendar Q4 Gong Show. It was the centerpiece of entertainment.

We see deals with "international connections," like Nigeria, Central and South America, Eastern Europe and a smidgen of other regions often. Self-referential PR, inconsistencies between SEC filings and "shareholder statements," the lack of credible industry disclosure, and so on, all of which MMEX exhibits are classic red-flags.

Ignoring all other sources of information, just read the entirety of MMEX's SEC filings. Everything any investor needs to know is contained in whole, in those SEC filings. It takes some work - I can read more than 1000 words per minute, comprehend, and retain it, and type more than 220-wpm, so the "work" varies based on one's own capabilities. But really, if you are invested in, or considering in investing in MMEX, just read the filings, do the math on the basis of the consolidated statements. If you still want to invest, that's on you.

Some investment firms like to generate 10X or more cash-on-cash. To do so, a firm must avoid investing in trash like MMEX - even one MMEX can drive the desired returns down. So we learn to spot them early, and some of them, like MMEX are good for a laugh.

For what it’s worth, “Figuring out MMEX is easy. In my business, I see fly-by-night scams similar to it all the time”

What are some examples of similar scams you have exposed “all the time”????
