Some people are claiming to have insider information obtained from unnamed sources that Emeka Offor and Chrome have bought 1.5 billion shares of ERHC over the last few months and that he now owns over 50%.

The last share ownership reported by ERHC included the shares Offor/Chrome got from converting his convertible debenture as well as all his other previously owned shares. The total of all those shares comes to less than 1% of the total shares now outstanding and are worth about $168.

With zero proof I don't believe for a second that SEO bought over a billion shares on the open market. Sounds like yet another unsubstantiated myth to me.
