Yes, SOM duration should be a conditional probability (ie, only included in the mean if the participant actually gets SOM). Otherwise the mean duration is misleading. But this is primarily relevant in drugs with really exceptional results in preventing SOM, like Galera's. It's a good problem to have. We had a smaller sample size and fewer preventions (unfortunately). It also seems like there was some puzzling volatility in our results. (Small sample size will do that.)
