I just did get a hold of her this morning. Basically she said the 8K/PR was not to be interpreted as good or bad news, it was required disclosure for investors and warrant holder agreements. They can't say how the trial protocol for GvHD will change until they discuss with the FDA and get their agreement to it. This is all about getting a trial that best represents the potential for pro 140 and they can't really tailor the trial until they get some idea of actual trial results. Th IDMC review was likely a sign that they can better adjust the trial in some way to benefit the company. The how and what is yet to be revealed. I take it as good news but how good is very difficult to say until we get some solid response and agreements with the FDA.

I also asked why we are having such subdued SP movement given the past couple PR's that I think most here felt would be game changers. Her response is that the FDA is very much in charge of the flow of information during trials, Any slip of information really can cause big problems. As much as we are in the dark compared to the past it is really just a consequence of being in FDA trials. It is not worth risking major trial derailments just to have a CC where some information is accidentally slipped out. so, we are just going to have to wait and see. She also felt the SP has actually moved positively over the past couple months and I told her this is a high risk investment and a move from $.55 to $.70 is not why investors are here, this is a multi billion product that is still valued at $100mil. I hope this gets back to mgmt but at the end of the day they can't just crank up the SP at will.

I also asked about why we are not being in part supported by the many HIV charity organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. The response is that they do talk to them but the problem is that these organizations are focused on helping in a charitable way, not supporting a publicly traded/for profit business. Makes sense to me but the line is grey between the two especially since drugs like pro 140 may never see the light of day unless they sell their sole in funding. but that is a whole separate discussion. Basically, mgmt is working hard to maximize the impact of pro 140 and is doing alot to get there. Informing the investors of every detail of this ever-changing/ complicated process is not a high priority mostly due to the risk that it might hurt more than help the process.
