Gold coins don't float, nor do silver plates, a flintlock pistol/s or a single cannon, the latter items previously found by Heartland. That's what flotsam is all about. A ship wrecks on a reef (shoal) breaks into pieces and they go a drift sometimes with content within or attached. This is not an uncommon occurrence. Hope this proves helpful. So tell me more about the floating gold coins from your perspective. Never heard of that before. Interesting.
