All thus found 1715 shipwrecks verifiably "grounded", meaning they struck the outer reef or flat-out grounded and were battered to pieces against the shore. Survivors got washed onto the beach as did the bodies of the drowned. The question is what supposedly sank this "fantom" wreck believed by SFRX to be in their area? On this subject, I put my confidence in the research and comments made by renowned archivist and treasure hunter Jack Haskins who specifically stated his belief that the "Concepcion" wrecked far off shore. That be the case, the things found previously by Heartland and the scant items seen and/or recovered by SFRX probably represent flotsam from that shipwreck, battered to pieces on a shallow a considerable distance away. Thats just my opinion. So far there seems to be nothing that proves otherwise.
