Correct Joey. The noteholders could hold the shares. The company also has an option to buyout the notes before it gets converted to shares, so yes , there is a chance to prevent the dilution that could take place. Honestly, I'm not going to hold through it though to find out... This is above my risk-reward threshold. VTNL is on my watchlist though, if company updates float numbers and it shows that it is decreasing rather than increasing, it could be a good opportunity to jump back in (for me). There could very well be a run prior to when the notes hit, which would be a good flipping / day trading opportunity, but as an investment, company has a lot of hoops to jump through. As a lotto play, why not... VTNL is as good as any...
